Our founder, experienced losing her home to foreclosure in 2012 and understands the challenges it brings to individuals, families, and finances. Motivated by her own experiences, she founded Blessed in Overages to help others in similar situations. Unlike her, many people aren't aware they can reclaim unclaimed funds or overages from foreclosure and Tax sales. These funds often end up with the government, and we aim to prevent that from happening to you. Our commitment is rooted in integrity and a genuine desire to help.

Khadija Elder holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a paralegal certification from Florida International University (2020). With experience as a legal assistant for a defense attorney and a top healthcare staffing company, Khadija excels in helping others and creating positive change. She currently works in healthcare staffing, assisting travel nurses across the U.S. Khadija brings her legal expertise to asset recovery, passionately aiding families in reclaiming unclaimed/surplus funds and overages, making a positive impact in their lives.
Mark Gibson
Specialized in claim file handling, financial resolution, and information security. A Graduate from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration concentration in Marketing. Mark received his Master’s in science from Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) in Information Technology Cyber Security in 2021. Mark is a former claims resolution specialist who obtained an adjuster license and payment card industry data security standard (PCI-DSS).
He is passionate about improving the quality of life for others. Fighting for what is right. Leading in honesty and transparency; he is determined to provide excellent service. Still working in data security where he protects customers' sensitive data throughout multiple regions. Mark is thrilled to educate, assist, and work with as many families as possible to get them any unclaimed funds or overages owed to them.
